2020 Recap

 2020 So Far

January - Yay, Christmas season is over! Shelly's birthday at Lithia Springs was great! My company holiday Bonus and Raise were postponed since 2019 profits were not as high as previous years.

February - Work was hard without a proper team, a lot of job posts have gone up but my team wasn't flushed out yet. Lily's 1st Birthday was great at Megan and Dan's house with Family.

March - Yay! I got a HUGE raise and a good bonus... We are finally financially stable enough to afford our apartment with ease! Milo wouldn't wear any clothes but woody pajamas so we got 5 additional pairs.

April - Quarantine began, Lily started growing her first tooth (at 15 months).

May -  Milo's preschool canceled, playgrounds off the menu and science works closed. We entertained ourselves with parks, walks and the beach as well as a couple costume changes.

June - Camping trip! Also, can we afford a house? Surprise we can and we bought one.

July - We own a house! We paused our quarantine to get help moving and cleaning out the old apartment. Camp style meals until we got set up and thoroughly cleaned out the old place (we got our full deposit back plus a small bonus for getting out before the end of the month!)

August - My Birthday in Tahoe, Lily started walking at 18 months and took her first real steps in Tahoe, Milo is slowly starting to accept wearing other outfits as supplements to his woody outfit.

September - Milo tripped while being a superhero and knocked his front tooth loose. It was memorial day weekend and there were no dentists available so Milo lived with a loose front tooth until they could see us on Tuesday. Milo did great at the dentist and they popped the tooth out since it was starting to get infected and the dentist didn't want it to affect the adult tooth behind it. We couldn't get home afterward however as it was very windy and a huge fire ripped through from North Ashland all the way to South Medford closing I5 and 99. After hours in the car in traffic trying to get home and getting rerouted several times, I finally made it to Megan's house where Milo and I spent the night. Luckily, we didn't have to evacuate from there (it was a close call) and we were able to make it home early the next morning. Smoke clouded the valley after that making is impossible to even play in our back yard anymore.

And that's 2020 so far!
